Lighthouse Business Navigation was built to help small business owners understand what is not working and fix it. Hi, I’m Kari L. Probst, founder of Lighthouse Business Navigation.

I’ve spent years noticing the same thing in business after business: owners work hard, care deeply, and still end up overwhelmed because the systems behind the scenes are not working the way they should. Those day-to-day issues quietly cost time, money, and peace of mind.

I started Lighthouse Business Navigation to give business owners practical, honest support. My focus is not on adding more noise or complexity. I help owners step back, understand what is really happening, and put practical systems in place that make running a business feel more manageable.

My perspective is shaped by both education and professional experience. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Development, an MBA in Project Management, and a Master’s degree in Information Technology. I have also worked with organizations including Comerica Bank, Huntington Bank, and World of Floors Corporate. Those experiences strengthened my understanding of financial processes, business operations, structure, and the day-to-day realities that affect how a business runs.

If your business feels harder to run than it should, I’d love to help you find a better course forward. Sometimes it only takes a fresh set of eyes and the right structure to start moving a business in a better direction. You do not have to figure it out alone.
A Clearer Way Forward
"My perspective is shaped by both education and experience."
About Kari
A little more about me ...
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with family, which is at the center of my life. I’m a mom, stepmom, or adoptive mom to 7, a proud grandma to 11, and I share a home with my husband and 6 dogs who all keep life interesting.

In the fall and winter, I shoot in a pool league, and year-round I enjoy genealogy research. I also serve as a Board Member of the Bad Axe Back to the Roots Flag Football League, because I value being part of something that supports families and community connections.
